The ChampionsGate Resort near Orlando, Florida, home to two Greg Norman golf courses and a variety of high end property developments is getting ready to open its newest addition, the Fountains at ChampionsGate.
The Fountains, a development of 80 luxury vacation town-homes, will be inaugurated at a special event in the new resort on June 25th, and will be hosted by the developer Feltrim Group in association with the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA). Feltrim, who are based locally in Davenport, Fl, are not new to ChampionsGate and have also developed the popular Tuscana condo resort approximately 120 yards from the Fountains.
Feltrim CEO Garrett Kenny, who hails originally from Ireland, says that the speed at which the Fountains homes were sold on the international market points to the renewed vibrancy of the Orlando property market and its attraction to the international market; “Orlando is one of the world’s premier tourist destination, and has now passed New York as the US’ most visited metropolitan area. The growth in visitors from markets like Latin America and Asia, in addition to the growth in local industries such as Life Sciences, digital tech and Aerospace have been making Orlando an extremely busy market.”
Due in part to this increased activity, Feltrim will also unveil its newest development the Balmoral at Water’s Edge resort at the event. Balmoral will be a gated resort, located 25 minutes south of Disney World and will feature a wide range of amenities including its own waterpark, restaurant, lakefront beach, mini golf, clubhouse in addition to many parks, gardens and lakes. Homes will comprise initially of 3-8 bedroom luxury homes., with no two neighboring homes the same. “We’re very excited to tell people about this new development”, says Kenny, “it will be the most luxurious project in the area, we have a great concept by bringing in all the parks and gardens in addition to the amenities. So we’re very proud of this project”.
At the event, representatives and members of AREAA will also be in attendance as half of the Fountains 80 units were purchased by Asian investors, and this is a key demographic for Florida property sales. In 2014 Chinese investors spent more on US real estate than any other foreign buyers.
